Poems of Wine and Revelry is a book by Arab/Persian poet Abu Nuwas that holds a variety of flirtatious and wine-infused poems. He is often referred to as the “bad boy of Abbasid poetry”. In my interpretation of this book, which took the form of a postcard series, I focused on Abu Nuwas’ bisexuality, his love for alcohol and the wild/dark sides of the night.
